This headset allows open-ear listening, and you don’t have to put the earplugs into the ears.

When I was wearing this headphone for multiple hours, it provided me great comfort, and I never felt any wearing fatigue.

Its open ear design never creates any pressure or does not get hot in the ears.

Lightweight and flexible titanium frame ensures long-time wearing comfort.

You can also wear it with glasses. My friend, who is a biker, always wears this headset with a helmet and glasses together. He never feels any discomfort.

The clamping force of this Trekz Air is standard too.

After comfortability, here comes one of the most important features of a headphone. That is the sound profile.

So, let’s know it without any delay.

Sound Profile

AfterShokz Trekz Air bone conduction headphone provides a very amazing neutral sound profile. Its overall sound is very rich and well detailed.

The frequency response is also very precise and perfect for all genres of music.

However, this headset doesn’t produce much bass by creating sound pressure. It offers an average amount of bass through the cheekbones.

The midrange is quite overpowering.

The treble is also good and makes the sound noticeably bright, especially when combined with its lacking bass.

Does It Leak Any Sound?

AfterShokz Air wireless bone conduction open-ear headphones leak a bit more sound.

Due to its bone conduction design, its sound leakage performance is very poor when listening at loud volume.

The leaked sound is very understandable when you are in a quiet area.

Noise Cancelling

Bone conduction headphones have not the ability to cancel the background noise. So as a bone conduction headphone AfterShokz Air doesn’t provide active or passive noise cancellation features.

As this headset doesn’t cover the ears, it never provides any isolation. And this is great for those who are used to drive or walk on the busy road.

They can be aware of the surroundings.

It allows you to hear background sounds like a car and traffic signals and thus prevents any accident.

But if you don’t want to hear the outside noise or want to block the noise, don’t worry.

AfterShokz Air comes with earplugs. When you need to block the ambient noise, just put them in your ears.
